B.O. update: 'Ready' dominates, 'BBB' leads amongst new releases

READY continued to dominate the box-office for the third week in a row. Although the screen count has reduced and so has the number of shows at cineplexes [thanks to the multiple releases this Friday], READY is expected to dominate the marketplace by grossing decent figures in its third weekend ... Amongst new releases, BIN BULAYE BARAATI, which has had an extensive release at single screens, has opened very well in North India specifically. In fact, the film has overpowered all other films [except READY] in these markets ... BHEJA FRY 2 was expected to dominate the scenario, since the first part is still fresh in the minds of the viewers. But the opening response has been dull [15% to 20%]. Ditto for ALWAYS KABHI KABHI, which has opened to a 10% to 15% response ... BHINDI BAAZAAR INC. and CYCLE KICK have started on a poor note, although BHINDI BAAZAAR INC. has chances of improving over the weekend.
